Domestic Violence

Baltimore County Domestic Violence Lawyer

Conviction of a domestic violence charge carries serious consequences. A conviction will harm your career and your lifestyle. You may lose your child custody and visitation rights. Without the right lawyer, you may go to jail.

The Law Offices of Allan H. Rombro aggressively defend clients accused of domestic violence in both civil and criminal courts.

Call 410-580-9500 or send us an e-mail to arrange for a no-fee consultation. Allan H. Rombro will evaluate your case and advise you on your legal options and the appropriate defense strategy.

Helping You With Your Protective Order

Following the issuance of a civil order of protection, the Court schedules a hearing. At that hearing it is essential that you are represented by experienced counsel. Attempting to represent yourself is unwise. If a protective order is issued against you, you may be forced to leave your residence and you may lose the use of shared property such as a vehicle. The existence of an order also acts as a red flag if you are stopped by the police for any reason. A final protective order typically lasts one year and can be renewed indefinitely.

The Law Offices of Allan H. Rombro will appear in court the day of your hearing for the final protective order. Our firm can challenge false allegations of spousal abuse and family violence, put the events in context, and present your side of the story in a compelling manner in order to obtain a denial of that order.

We Are Prepared to Defend You in Court

Some defense attorneys are too eager to make a deal with prosecutors. This can be a mistake, particularly in criminal domestic violence cases where a conviction brings serious long-term consequences.

Allan H. Rombro will build a strong and persuasive case. To accomplish that, our firm will first investigate every aspect of your case. We will listen to your account, interview witnesses and collect other evidence. We will challenge the prosecution's evidence and witnesses using the facts and the law.

For a no-fee initial consultation with the domestic violence lawyer at the Law Offices of Allan H. Rombro, call 410-580-9500 or send us an e-mail. We serve clients in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, the Eastern Shore and other parts of Maryland.

Testimonials

"With 10 points on my record and TWO speeding tickets exceeding 80MPH--everyone said I'd get my license suspended for sure. Thanks to Mr. Rombro...I drove right home!!!"
    --Scott V. Baltimore County

"On my court day, I hugged my family goodbye..I knew I was going to jail for up to four years facing the same judge on my 4th DUI. Allan Rombro persuaded her to give me home detention. You gave me my freedom. I can't thank you enough."
    --Larry W. Baltimore County

"I’m a Catholic schoolteacher and have never been in any trouble. Imagine my surprise when I was arrested during a family vacation for my license I didn't even know was suspended. You told me you would take care of it for me….that was an understatement! The whole thing was dismissed before we even saw the judge!!!"
